Obituary

Oral Taylor, 86, of Charleston, formerly of Edens Fork, died at St. Francis Hospital on December 20, 2006.
Mr. Taylor was a Christian with membership at Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle. He retired from Libby-Owens Ford with 38 years and 9 months service. He was a member of the AFL-CIO and the LOF Retiree Club. He was also a prominent member of the Democratic Party.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Jesse and Icie Taylor; Wives, Rebecca, Frances and Katheren Taylor; Brothers, Ola, Opie, and Ova Taylor; Stepson, Roger Eary.
Survived by: Loving Wife, Anna Hanson-Taylor; Stepdaughter, Helen Dickens; Stepsons, Rusty, Garland, and John Eary; many nieces and nephews; special niece Janet Duffield.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 23rd at the Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle, Edens Fork, with Pastors John Hensley, Pete Hedrick, and Dr. David Mitchell of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. Friends may call 5-8pm Friday at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, 6837 Sissonville Drive.
To glorify Jesus Christ, Mr. Taylor would have approved memorial contributions to the Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle in his memory: c/o Mrs. Peggy Thaxton, Route 1 Box 389, Charleston, WV 25312.
