Obituary

Ora Bell Walker, 101, of Kanawha Two Mile went to be with the Lord peacefully at her home Friday, February 5 with her daughter, Julia and her granddaughter, Linda, by her side.
Ora retired from Charleston Linen in 1970, having worked as a seamstress. She was a lifelong member of Parsons Chapel Church, Charleston. She enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting, and outdoor work.
Preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Walker; and sons, Reno, Charles, Leonard and Cecil Walker.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Julia Walker of Charleston; daughters-in-law, Salome and Ruby Walker both of Charleston; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, twenty five great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank HospiceCare Nurses, Amber Blevins, Deanne Berry and Sharon Ellis for their wonderful care of Ora.
The Funeral Service will be 1pm Tuesday, February 9 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Leroy Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Kenna.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
