Oleta Irene Milam, 89, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2014 at Riverside Nursing Home.

Born September 4, 1924 in Clendenin, WV; she was the daughter of the late William Oley Litton and Isabel Shafer Litton.

Irene was a member of Humphrey United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning her home, and her cats.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Leon "Tom" Milam; five brothers, Roy Litton, Hysel Litton, Ellet Litton, Ralph Humphrey, and Delbert Litton.

Irene is survived by a son Thomas "Tom" Milam of Sissonville; a daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Hackney and her husband Dale of Sissonville; two grandsons, Dale Lee Hackney, Jr. and Scott Allen Hackney; six great grandchildren, Meghan, Brandon, Claudia, Matthew, Isaac, and Michael Hackney; and a special friend, Frank LeRose.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Humphreys United Methodist Church, Sissonville.

Funeral Service will be at 11am on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Humphreys United Methodist Church, Sissonville.

Interment will immediately follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Garden, Cross Lanes.
