Olen Milton Hammonds, 83 years old, born April 29, 1940, of Charleston, West Virginia, gained his angel wings on the 14th day, September, 2023. Olen was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was retired from Central Distributing Company and a Teamster. He is survived by his Daughter Terry L.

Campbell (Darel) of Culloden; Son Gregory O. Hammonds of Charleston, and Daughter-In-Law Stephanie Hammonds of Kenna. He had five Grandchildren - Tara (Nikki) Davis (Steven) of Ona; Justin Campbell (Lisa) of Milton; Dalton Hammonds (Rebekah) of Nashville, TN; Eric Hammonds of Titusville, Florida; and Evan Hammonds of Erie, Pennsylvania. He is survived by thirteen Great Grandchildren - Gracie Davis, Brandie Davis, Madyson Hatfield, Carson Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Grayson Quesenberry, Hollie Quesenberry, Easton Hammonds, Amelia Hammonds, Colton Hammonds, Eli Hammonds, Preston Hammonds, and Carolyn Hammonds. He is also survived by his sister Pansea Reed and his sisters-in-law Iolene Powell and Cloda Harding.

Olen is predeceased by his loving wife, Lola C. Harding Hammonds; his sons, Ronnie C. Hammonds and Randy Joe Hammonds, and his granddaughter, Emily Quesenberry. He is predeceased by his parents, Zealand and Biddie Hammond, his brothers, James C Hammond, Joseph Hammond, and Noble Hammond.

Per his wishes, Olen will be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date for family and close friends. Although our hearts mourn the loss of our loved one, we know that he is celebrating in Heaven with his wife, Lola, and his sons, Ronnie and Randy who he has missed dearly. See you soon Dad.

In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place no one else will ever fill. Enjoy your reunion in Heaven. We will see you again in the twinkling of an eye.
