Norma J. Reed, 70, of Sissonville was taken home by Angels on February 7, 2014 at home after a long illness.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Natchee; mother, Naomi Swiger; and brother, Jim Swiger.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brian Reed (Traci) of Louisville, TX, Deanna Reed of Sissonville and Joseph Reed (Christy) of Statham, GA; brothers, Jack and Robert Swiger both of Ohio; grandchildren, Mindy, Bradley, Hayden, Zachary, Caleb and Kaylee; great-grandchildren, A.J. and Brayden.

The family would like to thank Ava Phillips, Gale McClanahan, Dr. Kayi, Dr. Woodard and the staff at Sissonville Family Medicine for the care they provided Norma.

Funeral service will be 2p.m. Wednesday, February 12 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor George Webb officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery, Second Creek, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
