Nellie Dee Call, 89, of Sissonville, WV, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2025. She was born on July 8, 1935, to the late Lynn and Mammie Jarrett.

Nellie was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She loved spending time telling stories to her friends and family. Her laugh was one of a kind. She will be missed dearly but we know that she was ready to reunite with her loved ones.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Jeanette Gilbert of Elkview, brother James (Erma) Jarrett of Sissonville, grandchildren Cindy (Gary) Pauley of Elkview, Jameson (Brandie) Landers of Sissonville, Curtis (Raven) Lanham of Fairmont, Gene Landers of NC, great grandchildren Jameson (Amber) Landers II of Sissonville, Bryan (Maja) Pauley of Pittsburgh, Jessie (Kaleb) Landers of Red House, Kennedy Martin of Sissonville, Cain Lanham and Enzlee Willahan of Fairmont, great-great grandchildren Mayci and Brecken Landers of Sissonville, and several extended great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her care giver Rosie Sergent.

Nellie is preceded in death by her husband Otho Landers, son Norman Landers, daughter Linda Alwine, grandson Dewayne Bowles, siblings Mable Cunningham, Grover Jarrett, Clyde Jarrett, Marie Fisher, Illene Thaxton, Everette Jarrett, Loraine Landers, Billy Jarrett, Russell Jarrett, Mary Jarrett, Patsy Caldwell, and Jack Jarrett.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. before the funeral at the funeral home.
