Nealie Fern Parsons, 96, of Ripley passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 19, 2016.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, James C. Parson and his wife Karen; daughter, Marylin G. Yates; special grandson, Bobby Lee Yates, whom she raised with her children; sister, Effie Burdette; brothers, Charles and Everett Fisher; grandchildren, James "JC", Dru, Beverley, Daphni, Michelle, and Eddie; 11 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

Nealie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clifton Otha Parsons; parents, Arthur and Bessie Fisher; sister, Lealie Wilkinson; and brothers, James and Sebert Fisher.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Bill Jones and Pastor Jay Brewer will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
