Natchee R. Reed, 67, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord May 29, 2008 at home after battling liver cancer. He was a retired welder for Metro Machine, Norfolk, VA., with 10 years service.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Rude and Dorma Reed; and brother, Harry Reed.
Survived by: Loving Wife, Norma Reed at home; Children, Deanna Reed of Sissonville, Jody Reed and fiance Christy Booth of Bogart, Georgia, and Brian Reed and his wife Traci of Lewisville, Texas; Siblings, Michael and James Reed, Myrtle Wolfe, Bonnie Good, and Vivian Parsons all of Sissonville; Grandchildren, Mindy Burdette, Hayden, Bradley, and Zachary Reed, Caleb, and Kaylea Durand; one great grandchild; 20 nieces and nephews; and a special family friend, Michael Hurley.
A graveside service will be 1pm Monday, June 2 at the Reed Family Cemetery, Second Creek, Sissonville with Jack Comer officiating. Visitation will be 6-9pm Sunday at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
