Minnie Florence Lightner, born on July 18th,1935 in Kanawha County, went home to be with The Lord on November 16th, 2020. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Diane Lightner and Great Granddaughter Angel Lynn Morris. She is survived by her husband John R. Lightner, her two sons, Zack Lightner and Johnny Lightner, 10 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Minnie was a lifetime member of The Refuge Gospel Tabernacle of Dunbar, WV. She was a talented singer and played a variety of instruments. She enjoyed making crafts, gardening, and traveling for ministry. Minnie devoted her life to preaching and singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Masks are required and social distancing practiced. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
