Minnie Lenora Hamilton, 88, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2010, surrounded by family and friends in Hubbard Hospice House.
She was born June 4, 1922 to the late C.T. "Thaw" and Myrtle Tolley. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brownie Hamilton; sisters, Virginia Thomas and Mary Hamilton Bailey.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Becky Sayre and her husband, Ray; granddaughters, Tonya Sayre and Shawna Hudson and her husband, Mark; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Conner Hudson; sisters, Melvinia "Punch" Saunders and Lucille Thomas; brother, C.T. Tolley, Jr.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Edison Hager and Pastor Charles Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Tolley Cemetery, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
