Mina Blanche Bailey, 79 of Sissonville; passed away on January 6, 2018 after a long illness. She fought the good fight and stayed strong with all that she went through. She loved her family and never knew a stranger.

Preceding her are her father and mother, William Franklin and Ufa Hazel Bostic; sisters, Janice Lorraine Bostic and Heather Eileen Burdette; grandson, Jeremy Richard Lester; and great granddaughter, Jaylee Mae Smithson.

Mina is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Hurley Eugene Bailey; sons, Joseph Bailey, Jamie Bailey (Sue), and Jerry Bailey; daughters, Jennifer Skiles, and Jayne Huffman (Tommy); sister, Freda Holmes; brother, Rex and Frank Bostic; grandchildren, Bobbie-June, Billy, Hannah, Adam, Katie, Jessica, Jamaica, and Joshua; five great grandchildren, Brock, Abigail, Jared, John and Jacob.

Visitation will be held from 11am to noon on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Goldtown Community Church: 17549 Charleston Rd., Kenna, WV 25248 Funeral service will begin promptly at noon. Pastor Rob Bumpus will be officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Burdette Cemetery on Appletree Lane on Grapevine Rd.
