Michael Wayne Nichols, 66, of Lumberton, Texas, died Monday, June 8, 2026. He was born on July 25, 1959, in Arlington, Virginia, to Janet Louise Cox Nichols and Charles Ronald Nichols.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jean Ann Nichols; children, Jessica Robinson and her husband, Jordan, of Southern Pines, North Carolina; and Thomas Nichols and his wife, Natasha, of Lumberton, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Robinson, John Robinson and Brooke Robinson; mother, Janet Louise Nichols of North Potomac, Maryland; brothers, Todd Nichols of Manchester Maryland, and Roger Nichols of North Potomac, Maryland; nephew, Charlie Cherricks of Hampstead, Maryland; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anita and Bob Larimore, and their children, Abi and Ellis, all of Camdem, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his father.

A gathering of Michael’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2026, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, Texas. His interment will be at a later date at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Sissonville, West Virginia.
