Obituary
Michael Lee Edens, 48, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 7, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
He was a graduate of Sissonville High School.
He was preceded in death by sister, Pamela Edens-Miller.
Surviving are parents, Virginia and Lee Edens, Jr.; daughters, Kayla (Jeremy) Smith, Kimberly Edens, grandson, Tristen Smith; sisters, Rebecca (James) Lemley, Jennifer Dawson, Pansy Edens; brother, Jeffrey (Karen) Edens; brother-in-law, John H. Miller, three nieces and four nephews.
Service will be 1 PM Saturday, November 10 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with the Rev. Allen "Butch" Thompson Officiating. Burial will follow in the McClanahan Cemetery, Martins Branch.
Friends may call from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family request that visitors please wear jeans and casual attire.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W, Charleston, WV 25312.
