Michael James Cobb 65, of Sissonville W.V. passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 13, 2026. He was born October 20, 1960 in Charleston W.V. to James and Ruth Cobb.

Mike was a loving father, brother, uncle and son. He attended sissonville jr. high and faith christian. In his younger years he enjoyed riding his horse, playing in the woods, building treehouses and riding his Yamaha 90. He spent most of his adult years working as a heavy equipment operator for Pritchard mining and Carpenter Reclamation. He enjoyed spending time with his children and tinkering with cars and motorcycles.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father James Melvin Cobb, sisters Barbara Johnson (Kevin), Carla Harmon (Edward), and Penny Hicks (Charles). Children Tony (Billie), Ali RaLee, Kylie, Gracie, Michael (bubby),and Tracy. Former companion and longtime friend Michelle Shirley. Several nieces and nephews and many friends. He is preceded in death by his Mother Ruth Cobb, his Mawmaw Gracie Cobb, niece Carrie Harper and nephew Jamie Harmon.

At Mikes request he will be cremated with no public service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
