Martha Emojean McGraw, 87 of Fairplain, formerly of Sissonville WV, passed on to her Heavenly Home Tuesday, Feb. 24th after an extended illness.

Born of the flesh on January 28, 1939, and born again of the Spirit on May 5th, 2019, she was a retired employee of the federal government, spending over 20 years working for the US Secret Service.

In her younger years, you could hear her cheering her children on as they participated in various sporting events from the next town over.  In retirement, she enjoyed many crafts including sewing, embroidery, stamping & was an avid greeting card maker - sending them to family, countless friends and acquaintances, endeavoring to lift their spirits, letting them know they are thought of and loved.

Emojean was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Lessie Jordan, sisters Bernice Miller and Mateline Holmes and granddaughter Jordan Baria Owen.

She is survived by her faithful husband of 65 years Cleo McGraw, daughter Kim Milam (William), sons Kevin McGraw (Lisa) and Scott McGraw (Deana),adopted son Brian Sloan, grandchildren MaLea McGraw, Kayla Haught (Alex), Brooke Laudin (Thomas), Logan McGraw & Scottie McGraw, grandson-in-law Scott Owen, and great-grandchildren McKenna, Mara, Eli, Harlow, Hudson & Malachi.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her son, Pastor Scott McGraw, officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
