Martha Faye Lyons, 76, of Charleston passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Penny Jean Lyons, Phillip Lyons, Jr., Cathy Pritt, Edward Lyons (Dawn), and Teresa Ferraro (Louie); sister, Nancy Tippie; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grand children, and 4 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip E. Lyons; parents, Howard and Belva Lucas; a sister, Janet Simmons and two brothers, Calvin and Robert Lucas.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses at Thomas Memorial Hospital ICU and for the kind gentle care from the Hospice staff.

Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to any hospice of your choice.
