Marshall M. Hamilton Jr., 74, of Parkersburg, formerly of Sissonville passed away October 31, 2010.
Marshall was born April 1, 1936 in Fairmont, WV. Marshall received his Bachelor of Science degree from WV Tech and his Masters degree from Marshall University. He Worked for the WV Department of Education, Vocational Division with 24 years service. He attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church, was a member of the Antique Automobile Club and the Moose Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall M. and Sarah K. Hamilton.
Survived by: loving wife of 47 years, Phyllis Wilmoth Hamilton at home; children, Dianne Hamilton White and her husband, Chuck, of Lancaster, PA, and Marshall "Bud" M. Hamilton III and his wife, Missy, of Salem, VA; sister, Sarah Morgan and her husband, John, of Lawrenceville, GA; and grandchildren, Joseph Hamilton White, Kathryn Mae White and Erin LeAnn Hamilton.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Thursday, November 4 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend Terri Deane officiating. Private Interment will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
