Obituary

Markle Lee Jones, 73, of Sissonville passed away October 4, 2010 at CAMC Memorial Division after an extended illness.
He was a retired coal miner and owner of Markle''s Market and Towing and other multiple businesses.
He is a former veteran of the Marine Corps. He played football at Sissonville High School the year they went undefeated and also played football while in the Marine Corps.
He was a Christian and a member of Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church and the Methodist Men''s Group.
He was preceded in death by his wife Reba Mae Ingram Jones, son Spauldin Otto "Pete" Jones and 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
He is survived by a daughter: Karen Lea Carney of Sissonville Son: Markle Lee Jones, II of Sissonville
5 Grand Children 4 Great-Great Grandchildren
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Friday at the Humphreys Memorial United Methodist Church, Sissonville, with the Pastor George Webb officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. Private family burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Humphreys United Methodist Church, 8240 Sissonville Drive, Sissonville, WV, 25320.
Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville is serving the Jones family.
