Mildred "Marie" Smith, 71, of Charleston went to be with the Lord March 9, 2010 at home.
Marie was a member of the Greenlee United Methodist Church for many years and was a member of the Canaan Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Aaron Smith of Charleston, and Isaac Smith and his wife, Sherry, of Sissonville; grandchildren, Amber Smith, Logan Smith, Sarah Smith and Tehya Smith; niece, Sandy Kiger and her husband, Bill, of Nashville, TN; nephews, Mike Campbell and his wife, Joann, of Cross Lanes, Earl "Blackie" Cobb and his wife, Kathy, of Tazwell, VA, and David Campbell and his wife, Keith, of Sissonville; five great nieces, two great nephews and one great grand niece.
The Funeral Service will be 11am Saturday, March 13 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend Johnna Wheaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, Kenna.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6-8pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
