Madeline Ellen Harding, 93, of Charleston passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 06, 2021 at CAMC Hospice Care. She was the daughter of the late Otmer and Ruth Walker. In addition to her parents, Madeline is preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Harding and Quentin Whittington; daughter, Donna Jean Asbury; grandchildren, Michael D. Whittington and Amy N. Whittington, James Lawrence Walker, Joel Allen Walker; and brother, Jim Walker.

Madeline is survived by her children, Connie L. Cantrell, Ira Whittington (Debbie), and Quentin Dale Whittington (Mary "Kitty"); grandchildren, Travis Asbury (Jennifer), Stacy Hanshaw (Jesse), Wendy Asbury, Tara Cantrell, Lora Drenner (Eric), and Elizabeth "Beth" Whittington; great grandchildren, Alex Asbury, Jaydlin Asbury, Bayli Hanshaw, Brady Hanshaw, Josi Hanshaw, Madison Landers, Ryan Landers, Hunter Drenner, and Cydney Drenner; and niece Jeanette Lee Campla.

Funeral services will be held at 6pm on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor John Smith will be officiating. Interment will be private. Due to Covid, masks are required and social distancing practiced.
