Lowell Sherman Lanham, 76, of Dunbar passed away on March 14, 2025. He was born on May 12, 1948, to Helen Lanham and the late Delmar Lanham.

Lowell was a member of the First Church of God in Dunbar and worked as a maintenance supervisor for the WV State Police Academy. He enjoyed visiting Bill Jean's cabin with friends, hunting, and working on cars and tractors. Lowell was a devoted husband and father.

In addition to his father, Lowell is preceded in death by his wife Diana Lanham.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Helen Lanham, son Scott (Melinda) Lanham, granddaughter Emily Lanham, grandson Brennan Lanham, and Sally Hodges.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18th at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
