Louie Ledsome Louie Ledsome, 85, of Applegrove, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Pleasant Valley Health Center.

Louie was a hardworking man who loved the outdoors. He was an avid coin collector, and was always ready to start up a conversation about coins, hunting, fishing, or just checking in on you with his soothing voice and gentle laugh. He loved his family, and eventually learned how to show them. He grew into a kind and quiet man, who was a calming presence, even in a crowd of people. In his later life he didn't need to be the life of the party, but instead would sit quietly, happily taking in the noise and joy of children playing, and the conversations of others taking place around him. However, he was always ready to start up a long, one on one conversation with whoever took the time to talk to him. His genuine smile, and soft laughter will be missed by all who had the privilege of receiving them.

Louie is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Delva, his brother Kenneth, his sister Gayle, and his sons, Jerry and Aaron.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brother, Kermit (Grace Ann), of Sissonville, his children: Greg (Darlena) of Kenna, Dwayne of Parkersburg, and Amanda (Chris) of South Point Ohio, his grandchildren: Melea (Brandon) of Illinois, and Cody of Sandyville, along with Louie's great granddaughters Lauren, Kendra, and Aria.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in the mausoleum at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
