Lois Kay Thorne, 78, of Charleston, passed away on May 18, 2022 after a 10 year battle with dementia. Born August 23, 1943 in Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Myers Belcher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Thorne. Lois is survived by her daughters, RoAnn Thorne and Rhonda Kennedy; grandchildren, Samantha Kennedy and Nick (Brianna) Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Troup, Kathryn Casto, Kaydence Casto and Ryder Kennedy-Taylor. There will be a private family service at the family cemetery in Braxton County.
