Lois E. McWhirter, 81, of Scott Depot, originally of Crestline, OH passed away May 12, 2007 at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital after a sudden illness.
Lois had retired as a Registered Nurse having been the assistant head nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was a graduate of the White Cross Nursing Hospital. She was also a member of the Cross of Grace Lutheran Church, Hurricane.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Frances and Earl Fisher; Brother, Floyd Fisher.
Survived by: Loving Husband of 55 years, Richard C. McWhirter at home; Daughter and her husband, Kathleen A. and Romie Edens of Sissonville; Son, Richard C. McWhirter, Jr. of Columbus, OH; Grandchildren, Crystal M. and Jacob McWhirter of Columbus, OH and Great Grandchild, Emily of Columbus, OH.
The Funeral Service will be 3pm Tuesday, May 15 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Gerald Kliner officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Green Lawn Cemetery, Crestline, OH. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
