Linda Call Phillips, 59, of Sissonville, passed away on October 24, 2015 at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was a thoughtful caring wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend.
Linda previously worked at Top Spot Family restaurant in Sissonville. Linda''s greatest achievement was being a stay at home mom caring for her only son. In later years, loving and caring for her grandkids.
She was loved a lot and will be greatly missed by her husband, son, and special granddaughter, Erin.
Proceeded in death by parents, William "Bud" Call and Maria Call; sister, Karen Booth; and brother, Bill Call, whom she cherished.
Left to cherish her memory, husband, Roy L. Phillips for 42 years, her only loving son, Roy A. Phillips; granddaughters, Erin and Jama; grandsons, Austin, Eric, and Paxton; sisters, Janie Woofter, Joyce Riley, Tammy Messenger, Kathy Call, and Terri Call; brother, Dallas Call; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9pm on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.
Funeral service will at 1pm on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Phillips Long Cemetery, Derricks Creek.
