Lilly I. Pritt, 74, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord January 10, 2008 in CAMC General Division.
Lilly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a life long resident of Sissonville. Lilly was a Christian, and attended various churches. She liked to read, and her children were her passion.
She was preceded in death by: Parents, Brady and Goldie Clendenin; Siblings, Bobbie Mallion and Hewitt Clendenin.
Survived by: loving and devoted husband of 54 years, James "Melvin" Pritt at home; Children, Gail and Lester Thaxton of Derrick''s Creek, Quintin Lee Pritt and his Fiance Teresa Hailey of Dupont City, and Gregory E. and Emma "Tuttie" Pritt of Sissonville; Sisters, Nellie Davis of Mansfield, OH, Karen Richards and Diana Sue Payne both of Charleston, Helen Lanham of Poca, Lakie Britton (Lilly''s twin sister) of Sissonville, Beverly Layne of Scott Depot, and Drema Green of Marmet; Brothers, Brady O''Dell Clendenin and Rocky Clendenin both of Little Rock, Arkansas; Grandchildren, Leigha Whittington of Sissonville, Jamie R. Hailey of Dupont City; step grandson, Kevin Given of Charleston; Great Grandson, Ryan Whittington of Sissonville.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Wednesday, January 16 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville. A gathering of friends and family will be from 6-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
