Lillian Faye Davidson Pinkerton, 90, passed away peacefully at home, On November 10, 2018 surrounded by her family.

A bright shining light, Lillian was born in West Hamlin, WV; she was a graduate from Guyan Valley High School and Huntington Business School. Lillian dedicated her life to her loving husband, and always showing her unconditional love to her children and family. She lived a wonderfully Christian life. Lillian was our quiet encouragement and inspiration. Her most valuable qualities were her kindness and love toward others. Lillian treasured her church family, Calvary church of the Nazarene.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Patton and Ethel Davidson. She was one of 11 children and the last one to pass away.

Left to cherish her memory is her precious husband of 72 years, Walter H. Pinkerton; her son Michael Pinkerton (Sue); and daughter, Claudia Star Miller; six grandchildren, Lisa Pinkerton Johnson, Shayne and Shauna Pinkerton, Eric and Jessie Pinkerton, Scot and Megan Payne, Corey Suzanne Payne, and Ashley Taylor Miller; and eight beautiful great grandchildren.

Our family would like to express their deepest thankfulness and appreciation to the staff at the Hospice for their wonderful care. Also to our precious caretaker, Annette Belch, for her extreme love and devotion to our mother.

A celebration of Lillian's life will be held at on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home at 1pm with visitation one hour prior to the service.
