Lillian Mae Legg (Mommaw Lil from Sissonville) passed peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 2, 2022.  She is now in her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Hester Newhouse, her husband, Herman Legg, and children Keith Legg and Denise Thompson.  She will be lovingly missed by her sister Faye Young of Dunbar and her two granddaughters, Kerry Dawn Legg and Kelly Legg-Newhouse, both of Sissonville, and great-granddaughter Heather Newhouse of Bethesda, MD.

She was always on the move, never left the house without lipstick, and loved vanilla ice cream.  She spent her life caring generously for her family and friends and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.  She was a member of Grapevine Chapel and Maranatha Baptist Church in Sissonville.
