Liddie E. Boggess, 97, of Kenna went to be with the Lord March 1, 2010 surrounded by her family.
Liddie was born March 19, 1912 and was a member of the Goldtown Community Church. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Boggess; sons, Robert S. "Tootium" Boggess and Preston Boggess; daughter, Roena Taylor; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Stanton Boggess and his wife, Rosemary, Roy Boggess and his wife, Burna and Nemo Boggess and his wife, Phyllis all of Kenna, Maggie Casto of Fairplain, Margaret Westfall and Rigenia Slater and her husband, Mike, all of Kenna; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
The Funeral Service will be 11am Thursday, March 4 at the Goldtown Community Church with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Wednesday at the church.
