Lee Edens, Jr., 81, of Charleston passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at CAMC General. He was born April 7, 1932 to the Late Lee and Melissa Hersey Edens, Sr.

He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Kanawha County Board of Education. Lee was an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and sang at several churches.

In addition to his parents those preceding him in death are daughter, Pamela Edens-Miller and son Michael Edens.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Virginia (McClanahan) Edens; children, Rebecca Lemley and her husband James, Jennifer Dawson, Pansy Edens, Jeffrey Edens and his wife Karen; son-in-law, John Miller; 5 granddaughters, 4 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 PM Friday, April 26 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Rev. Butch Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in McClanahan Cemetery, Kellys Creek.

Friends may call from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
