Larry O''Dell Fisher, 78, of Sissonville passed away at his home on Sunday, July 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 4, 1938 in Kenna; he was the son of the late Foy and Lillian Fisher.

Larry was an avid baseball and softball player who played on many teams. His softball team won the 2005 Senior World Championship game with the Senior Olympic Softball Team. Larry was Vice President of the Emma Chapel Cemetery; and was on the Stonewall Jackson High School 1957 Reunion Committee. He retired from Kroger with many years of service. Larry was an active member Calvary Church of the Nazarene. He was a kind, loving, and giving man.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by a great grandson, Atticus Parker Dawson; and first cousin who was like a sister to him, Patricia Summers.

Larry will be missed by his loving wife, Wanda Fisher; a son, Mark O''Dell Fisher (Beth); grandchildren, Andrew Dawson (Ashley) and Courtney (Ryan) Dawson; great grandchildren, Lex Rowsey and Isla Dawson; first cousins who were like brothers and sisters to him, Linda McKeny, Lanny (Dottie) Fisher, and Steve (Ann) Fisher; a host of friends; and his dog, Allie.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at noon on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Emma Chapel Cemetery in Liberty, WV.
