Lannie Earl Shaffer, 62, of Sissonville passed away on December 24, 2023, after a short illness. He was born on July 6, 1961 in Charleston to Alva Faye Hughart and the late Hollie Ray Shaffer.

In addition to his father, Lannie is preceded in death by his brothers, Randy and Timothy Shaffer; and daughter, Samantha.  Lannie worked as a Stonemason for over 45 years. He enjoyed fishing and collecting antiques.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Alva Shaffer; best friend, Missy; sister, Rita; brother, Kevin; daughters, Sarah, Amanda, Leslie; sons, Anthony, Robbie, Chad, Lannie Jr, Luke, Nick, Marcus; and nine grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, 6837 Sissonville Drive, Sissonville with Pastor Dave Carney officiating. Burial will follow in Newhouse Cemetery Sissonville.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
