Laco E. Boggess, 95, of Kenna passed away November 2, 2010 in Cedar Ridge Nursing Center after a short illness.
Laco was a member of the Sissonville Church of Christ and he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Addie and Lessie Boggess; and brothers, Willard, Elbin, Hillard and John Boggess.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 72 years, Katherine Boggess at home; children, Dewey Boggess and his wife, Ella, of Ravenswood, Dennis Boggess of Kenna, Dolan Boggess and his wife, Jean, of Teays Valley, Jack Boggess of Humble, TX and Jeanette Parsons and her husband, Steve, of Bridgeman, MI; sisters, Mary Keller of South Charleston and Ida Mae Moore of Hendersonville, TN; brothers, Arnold Boggess of Hurricane, Freeman Boggess of Ripley and Windell Boggess of Rochester, PA; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Friday, November 5 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Minister Steve Poyet officiating. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
