Kathy Lynn Shamblin, 47, of Sissonville, formally of Letart, passed away Nov. 9, 2007, at home after a short illness.
Kathy loved animals and was a very kind person.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oshal Shamblin.
She is survived by her companion, Rodney Woodard; children, Brian Shamblin and Jeremy Shamblin, both of Aberdeen, Md.; mother, Barbara Holstein; brothers, Kenneth "Pete" Saunders of Sissonville, and Guy Michael Saunders of Glen; niece, Kendra Saunders; nephew, Jason Saunders; and three aunts.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with the Rev. Buddy Mairs officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
