Kathrean Faye Myers, 84, of Sissonville passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home.

Born May 20, 1930 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late, Otmer L. Shamblin and Orsie C. Lanham.

Kathrean attended Union Valley Church. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Delbert Myers; an infant son and daughter; three brothers, Olaf Shamblin, Corbie Shamblin, and Shelva Shamblin; and a brother in law, Carl Johnson.

Kathrean is survived by two sisters, Orean Johnson and Loshie Baldwin (Richard) both of Charleston; a brother, Eugen Shamblin (Virginia) of Ravenswood; several nieces and nephews that she thought of as her own; and special friends, Vernon and Vicky Good.

Funeral service wil be at 3pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Visitation will held from 12:30-3pm on Saturday with Pastor Robert Legg.

Entombment will be private at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
