Kathleen Evelyn Curry, 80, Charleston, WV formerly of Hanover, MD passed away peacefully on Wed., September 12, 2018 at Cedar Ridge Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reggie and Addie Webb; six siblings; her sweetheart of 52 years, Forrest "Jack" Earl Dempsey, Jr.; and Grandsons, Jason Mark Allen and Brian Joseph Farace.

Kathleen will be missed by her children, Kimberly Dawn Richmond (Ken Richmond), Kelly Jo Farace, Howard Ray Curry (Jennie Welch Curry) and Jeffrey Earl Dempsey; Sisters, Irene Lawrence and Pauline Farace; Grandchildren, Jenna-Ray Curry, Bryce Dempsey, Carter Dempsey, Holden Dempsey, Isabella Dempsey, Kenna DeCicco, Katelyn Keaton and Jennifer Ribakovs; Great-Grandchildren, Macie DeCicco, Madelyn DeCicco, Jadyn Markia Milam, Ava Ribakovs, Morgan Ribakovs and Alec Ribakovs; special niece, Kim Kesler Henry and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Kathleen loved to read the Bible, listen to scripture and watch/attend church services.  She was a very loving and giving person with a heart of gold.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Kathleen had a deep love for the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville with visitation one hour prior to service.  Internment will follow at 1:30pm at Marmet Cemetery.
