Katherine M. Boggess, 99, of Sissonville passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Eldercare Health and Rehab Center in Ripley.

She will be missed by her children, Dewey E. Boggess and his wife Ella, Dennis L. Boggess, William Dolan Boggess and his wife Jean, Gloria Jeanette Parsons and her husband Steve, Harold Jackson Boggess; sisters, Helen Lanham and Freda "Midge" Mowyer; brothers, Robert Lee Bumgardner and Raymond Neal Bumgardner; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Katherine is preceded in death by her husband, Laco E. Boggess; parents, William Howard Bumgardner and Mildred Flossie Bumgardner; sisters, Gladys Koontz, Mary M. Jones, and Pauline Bumgardner; and brother, Charles Webster Bumgardner.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation two hours prior to service. Pastor Steve Poyet will be officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Emma Chapel Cemetery in Liberty.
