Karen A. Jeffries, 74, of Nitro passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her home.

She was the daughter of the late, Darrell and Loretta Vannoy. Karen enjoyed luncheons with her friends, and she was an avid shopper. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen had a special bond with her great granddaughter, Alice.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Jefferies.

Left to cherish Karen's memory is her daughter, Tamra Jeffries; grandchildren, Anthony Jeffries, Destinee Gunnett, and Chadd Richardson; and great grandchildren, Alice, Gracelyn, Sullivan, and Clark.

Funeral services were held at noon on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Pastor Troy George officiated. Internment immediately followed at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
