Judy Elaine Dawson, 68, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord June 26, 2010 in CAMC Memorial after a long illness.
Judy was a homemaker and was a former employee of Sears. She retired from Mountain Auto Parts. She adored her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.
Judy was preceded in death by her biological father who was killed during WWII, Fred Bryant; and her mother and stepfather, who raised her like his own, Naomi and Carl Monday.
Left to cherish her memory are husband of 50 years, James Dawson at home; daughters, Kathy Lanham and her husband, Garry, of Sissonville, Sherry Withrow and her husband, Brent, of Liberty, and Kristi Linville and her companion, Brian, of Sissonville; grandchildren, JC, Michael, and Matthew Lanham all of Sissonville, Brent Withrow II of Liberty, Katelyn and Christopher Linville of Sissonville.
The family would like to thank Dr. Maria Kessell, Dr. Asif Rahman, Dr. James Lohan, Dr. Steven Arts, and CCU nurses Rachel and Megan for their wonderful care of Judy.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donation be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1221-A Ohio Avenue, Dunbar, WV 25064.
The Funeral Service will be 2:30pm Tuesday, June 29 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Richard Young officiating. Entombment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
