Joyce Lynn Coffman Cochran, 56, of Sissonville passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at Thomas Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
She was the daughter of Catherine Presson Coffman and the late James Harding Coffman. She was also preceded in death by a very special nephew, Corey Jarrett.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Matt Cochran; son, James Mentz; daughter, Leah and son-in-law, Terry Lauchart, all of Sissonville; mother, Catherine Coffman; grandchildren, Ethan Lauchart, Marlee Mentz, Christopher and Katelyn Linville; sister, Rita Jarrett of Sissonville; and brothers, Gary Coffman of Sissonville, Randy Coffman of Teays Valley, Kevin Coffman of Sissonville. She is also survived by nephews, Casey Jarrett, Tanner Coffman; nieces, Rachel Coffman, Kinzy Coffman; and great-niece, Haley Jarrett.
A memorial service in celebration of Joyce's life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with Jason Ellis officiating. Friends and family will receive visitors starting at 10 a.m. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
