Joseph Henry Miller, 78, of Sissonville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Born June 6, 1938 in Charleston, he was the son of the late Flavious Norman Miller and Nellie Fisher Miller. Henry was the co-owner of Linda''s Sports Bar. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting with family, camping, and listening to bluegrass music.

In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wives, Lynn Kerr Miller and Linda Lou Miller; maternal grandparents, Spice Fisher, Effie Beane Fisher, and Mary Fisher; paternal grandparents, Joseph Henry Miller, and Mary Tolley Miller; sisters, Jane Miller Gibson, Jody Miller Thaxton, and Marie Dail Harrington.

Henry will be missed by his sister, Mary Miller Stafford (Wes); step-children, Sharon Cobb, Linda Thornton, Randy Bailey, and James Settle II; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Chico.

Service will be 1pm Friday, March 4 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Fisher Cemetery, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
