Johnny William Mayhue, 69, of Sissonville passed away July 16, 2015 in Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.

Johnny was a retired truck driver with Shamblin Stone. He was a member of the Pocatalico Church.

Preceded in death by siblings, Judy Hypes, Vivian Spradling, James and Robert "Sam" Mayhue; and parents, Virginia and John Lee Mayhue.

Left to cherish his memory are sons, John and Steven Scott Mayhue, and Kenneth Crank, whom Johnny loved like a son all of Sissonville; sister, Mami "Dot" Burdette of Sissonville; companion, Diane Myers of Sissonville; mother of his children, Linda Sanson of St. Albans; grandchildren, Zachary Mayhue and Savanna Mayhue; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2pm Monday, July 20 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Buddy Mairs officiating. Burial will follow in the Baldwin Cemetery, Happy Hollow, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be 6-9pm Sunday at the funeral home.
