Johnny A. Brotherton, 57, of Charleston passed away unexpectedly June 17, 2011.
Johnny was a retired Captain with the Charleston Fire Department with 20 years service. He currently was working for the State Fire Marshals Office.
Left to cherish his memory are wife, Jill Brotherton at home; daughters, Casey Sierra Brotherton at home and Nikki Brotherton and Misty Tanner of Charleston; sister, Robin Coleman of Goldtown; brother, Bruce Brotherton of Big Chimney; and three grandchildren.
Johnny was an organ donor and his wish was to be cremated.
A memorial service will be at 7pm on Tuesday, June 21 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Casey Sierra Brotherton college fund, c/o Wesbanco.
