Johnnie F. Pauley, 73, of Sissonville, passed away on Saturday, January 23 after a long illness. He was a lifelong resident of Sissonville. Johnnie loved NASCAR Racing, hunting, and the Miami Dolphins. He attended Sissonville High School. Johnnie worked for Moore''s Lumber Company, Sangamore Coal Company and other construction companies. He retired from Jones Excavating Company in Sissonville.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Pauley, Sr. and Nora Pauley; sisters, Beatrice Wickline, Lorena Pauley, Patsy Landers, Delorse Beckett, and Audra Hackney; brothers Robert Lee Pauley, Jr. and Charles Pauley.

He is survived by his wife of 49years, Kay Pauley; two sons, John C. Pauley (Tabitha) of Houston, Pa, and Eric Pauley of Sissonville; three grandchildren, Jordan Nicole Pauley of Sissonville, Damian and Alex Pauley of Charleston; sisters, Pauline Newhouse (Freeman) of Sissonville, Kay Cunningham (Tim) of Pinch, Magdaline Painter of Walton; and a brother, Glenn Pauley (Carolyn) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 2pm at Jones Family Cemetery in Sissonville.
