Joe Ray's Obituary
Elmer "Joe" Ray, 51, of Charleston passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Irene Ray of Charleston; brother, Stanley, at home; sisters, Nada (Bud) Hill of South Charleston, Dorene Gunnoe of Elkview; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alva Boyd Ray.
He graduated from Sissonville High School and worked for several years at Charleston Newspapers as a driver.
Service will be at 5 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2010, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Coon Cemetery in Sissonville.
Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Long & Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville
