Jewell M. McClanahan, 68, passed away March 30, 2013. She was born November 23, 1944 to the late Doyal and Betty Goad Johnson.

Jewell was employed with Dependable Pilot Car for 28 years and her CB handle was Mamas Mistake.

In addition to her parents Jewell was preceded in death by son, Gary Eugene McClanahan and sister, Janet Slater and many pets.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Tracy Craig McClanahan and his wife Priscilla of Sissonville, Larry Allen McClanahan Jr. of Sissonville; grandson, Joseph Pennington; brother, Gene Johnson and his wife Francis of Parkersburg; many nieces and nephews and her special animals Sparky, Midnight, Tiny, Teddy and Sugar.

Special Nephew Jerry Slater of Indiana who was the pride and joy, and the love of Jewell''s life. Very special daughter-in-law Cindy Moffatt; Jewell told everyone Cindy was her daughter she never had, she loved her very dearly. Very special Aunt Gail Harrison and Uncle Jack Johnson, they were always there in her time of need.

Service will be 2 PM, Wednesday, April 3 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home Sissonville. Burial will follow in Beane Cemetery, Sissonville.

Friends may call from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home
