Jesse Eugene Jordan, 84, of Charleston went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 22 following a sudden illness.
Jesse attended Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church, Charleston.
He is survived by brother, James Vinton Jordan and wife Joan of Nitro; sister, Peggy Peters of Charleston; as well as many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
He was preceded in death by brother, Charles Leroy Jordan of Sissonville and sister, Anna Mae Hill of Xenia, OH.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday June 2 at the Cathedral of Prayer 2326 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston with the Pastor Kevin Norvell officiating.
Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville is in charge of arrangements.
