Obituary

James "Pluto" G. Harmon, 76, of Charleston, passed away peaceful on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Pluto served our country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He was a retiree from the WVDOH District 1. Pluto enjoyed hunting, watching Nascar and the Atlanta Braves; his favorite team. He was also an avid fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Audrey Harmon; loving wife, Dorothy Harmon; daughter, Dreama Morris; brother, Denver Harmon, grandson, Jason Haynes; and great granddaughter, Callie Rankin.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sekret Rankin, James O. Haynes, and Reita F. Haynes; sister, Lola Harmon; brothers, David Harmon, Kenny Harmon, Paul Harmon, Richard Harmon, Danny Harmon, and Larry Harmon; grandchildren, Stephanie Bowling, Ina Holstion, Marshall Rankin, Erica McCormick, Alma Morris, Cody Haynes, and Jeremy Haynes; great grandchildren, CJ Pomeroy, Nathan Pomeroy, Josie Bowling, Darrell Ray Holstion, Zachary Holstion, Jayden Rankin, and CJ; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Haynes Cemetery, Sissonville.
