James Harold Patton, 86, of Sissonville passed away November 2, 2024 at home.

James retired from Union Carbide/Dow.  He enjoyed working in his yard, and especially enjoyed watching WVU Football.

James was born March 22, 1938 in Charleston to the late Rexford and Arvie Smith Patton.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his son, Jace; brothers, Jarrell "Torp" and Darrell; sisters, Jewel and Joan "Clovie"; and a daughter-in-law, Becky.

Left to cherish his memory are loving wife of 67 years, Barbara Hanshaw Patton; sons, Harold, Brian (Tammy), and Shannon (Kim); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside will be at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
