James C Moffatt formerly of Jackson County, passed into peace at home 1/19/2022 in
Princeton after 89 years of an energetic life. Retired from the WV Dept. of Agriculture as a
plumber, he never quit working and playing, tending garden and riding a 4-wheeler down a
sheer slope to the lake to fish. Single, he is predeceased by parents, Giles & Leona; brothers,
Harold, Virgil, Lawrence, Giles Jr, Theodore (Mac) and sisters Elsie & Betty. He is survived by
brothers Rodney (Tammy) Hurricane, and Roger (DC); and sister and caretaker Vivian Duncan
(Larry) (Princeton). The family extends heart-felt thanks to Vivian and the entire Duncan family
for the care and devotion given to James over the past, nearly 5 years. A walk-thru viewing is
set for immediate family, 1/24/2022 from 6:30-7:30 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville,

masks and distancing required.  A memorial service will be held in the future.
